There is no charge for a visit and assessment. However, some services or laboratory testing may involve a charge.

Antibody titers
Antibody titer is a laboratory test that measures the presence and amount of antibodies in blood. The antibody level in the blood is a reflection of past exposure to an antigen or to something that the body does not recognize as belonging to itself. The body uses antibodies to attack and remove foreign substances.

Student Health and Wellness is able to perform several on-site laboratory tests. Other test may be ordered through an outside reference lab as indicated. There are fees associated depending on which test is performed.

Prescriptions
Prescriptions may be filled at any pharmacy and may be covered by the student's health insurance if available. Students are invited to fill their prescriptions at the Student Health Pharmacy.
Additional services
Many health care and education programs require annual tuberculosis testing to rule out active tuberculosis. Tb testing is done by injecting PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) under the skin and reading the results in 48 to 72 hours.
