Ankur foundation is a non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to raising the standard of living of underprivileged children in underdeveloped and developing countries by helping them complete their primary education.

Underdeveloped and developing countries face many problems like poverty, disease, unemployment and corruption but if there is one problem that is central to all others, it is illiteracy. We, the members of Ankur foundation have a strong belief that by helping underprivileged children complete their primary education, we can bring about a radical change in the standard of living in poverty-stricken parts of these countries. There are hundreds of children who cannot complete their primary education as they are unable to pay their fees and afford the money for books and other stationery. Our aim is to identify such children, sponsor their education and closely follow their progress.
