Assessment and Exit Exams
- Testing Services administers the assessment exams for the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning. Exams are offered each semester and test dates are posted the second week after classes begin. These group test dates are free. Several opportunities are available each semester, but pre-registration is required. Students should login and register online. Students may also login to view a complete description of the exams and eligibility.
- The Assessment and Exit Exams are a part of the general education requirements and a students best effort is required as the exams are tied to the accreditation process. E-mail notices are sent to students when eligibility is established by the degree program and the number of course hours are completed. For the ETS-PP a student must earn 70 credit hours to be eligible to register. The Major Field Exam must be taken by students of the following major programs: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Conservatory (Music), Mathematics, Physics, Political Science and Psychology. Students must earn 105 credit hours to be eligible to register for the Major Field Exam.
- Individual appointments for Assessment Exams are available for $25 payable via check, cash, or money order. Appointments are made in-person at Testing Services with payment of the non-transferable nonrefundable fee. Same day scheduling and testing is not allowed.
