EXHIBITS
The Dangerous & Daring Exhibit for Kids (May 21 – Aug 31, 2008)
Loosely inspired by The Dangerous Book for Boys and The Daring Book for Girls, this exhibit provides a playful
Opportunity for kids and kids at heart to explore our collection of antique toys and experience a bit of history along the way.
Learn about events that shaped 20th century childhood and experience it through real life kids from the 1920s – 1970s. The
Exhibit includes a rotating line-up of fun hands-on activities.
Pieced with Love: Girls and Doll Quilts of the Victorian Age (Nov 5, 2008 – Mar 29, 2009)
The exhibit will feature the doll quilts of Nebraskan Mary Ghormley and explore the domestic art of quilting as well as the common themes depicted in children’s handiwork.
Laborer, Craftsman, Artist (May – Aug 2009)
