How to edit a website

  1. Identify your website location

    You can find the URL for your website in the address bar of your browser.

  2. Find out who needs to have access

    Make a list of names and email addresses for those who will need to have access to the website to make edits. In addition, identify who will be the webmaster, or point person, for all questions about your website.

  3. Get permission to edit the website

    Request access through the Web Policy site.

  4. Attend a training

    University Communications provides monthly web editing help sessions for all web editors and basic training modules for beginners, upon request. The trainings are designed for SharePoint Designer, the Web editing software supported on our campus.
