In a career of public service that spanned nearly four decades, Clarence M. Kelley (LL.B. ’40) was known as "Special agent," "Chief" and "Director." He stood for integrity, embraced innovation, and brought pride and professionalism to every organization he served. To honor his leadership and service, UMKC’s Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology established the Clarence M. Kelley Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship will honor Kelley’s service and commitment to law enforcement by supporting a UMKC Criminal Justice and Criminology department undergraduate student who meets a rigorous set of requirements, and is deemed worthy by the scholarship directors.
Your gift to the scholarship fund will help recognize Kelley’s dedication and service, and help prepare tomorrow’s law enforcement and correctional leaders to follow in his footsteps.
