Department DescriptionThe Department of Political Science offers courses leading to the degrees of bachelor of arts and master of arts, and participates in the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program.The undergraduate major in political science is based on the principles of a liberal arts education, with special attention devoted to philosophies, institutions, processes and behavioral aspects of politics.
