5501 Special Readings/Topics (1-3)
This is a designated Arts and Sciences course which gives all departments in
the College the flexibility to offer, on demand and as the need arises, a
graduate-level readings course in a particular area of specialization in any
discipline in the College. The individual departments determine the content of
the course in any given semester in the same manner as any reading course,
special topics, or independent study is presently handled. The departments are
responsible for approving individuals or groups for the course and determine
whether or not the course will be included as a part of a post-baccalaureate
degree in their disciplines.
