5509 Methods Of Inq: Research Issues And Methods In The Liberal Arts (3)
This seminar is required of all first semester participations in the Master of
Arts in the Liberal Studies program. Must be taken concurrent with either A & S
510, 511, 512 or 513. This course serves as an introduction to various methods
of inquiry and research in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
Offered during four week-ends, the course is taught in conjunction with the
week-day class offered that term (A & S 510 through 513). This course includes
graduate level instruction in library research use of computer generated
research tools and a strong emphasis on academic writing. Offered fall and
winter semesters.
