This course examines those market-based issues that have broad implications for strategy, such as market sizing, brand and competitive set, and product life cycles. Among strategies and business models discussed will be those tailored to start-ups and growing businesses, as well as businesses in mature and declining markets, with special emphasis on the challenges of differentiation in highly competitive industries.
