5711 Biochemical Endocrinology (2)
An advanced study of the chemistry, metabolism, and mechanisms of hormone
actions on molecular processes. Each hormone will be studied with respect to
its site of origin, chemical properties, metabolism, disease entities, and
mechanism of action on molecular processes. Prerequisite: BISC 5710. This
course may not be used to satisfy Cell Biology and Biophysics or Molecular
Biology and Biochemistry discipline-specific requirements for the
Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program. Prerequisite(s): LSBIOC 5710.
