6537 Oral Oncology (0.5) A lecture course on oral oncology will deal with the biologic aspects of cancer; the detection of oral cancer and the different modalities of treatment of cancer; the dental aspects both from surgical reconstruction and prosthetic reconstruction following cancer surgery; and management of the patient prior to, during, and following radiation therapy to the head and neck and during chemotherapy for systemic cancer.
