5540 Theories And Methods In Group Counseling (3)
Theories and research in group counseling as related to the work of the
counselor and counseling psychologist; establishing and maintaining a
counseling group; qualifications of the group leader; goals for group
counseling; therapeutic and anti-therapeutic forces in groups; special
techniques. Three semester hours of lecture and one semester hour of
laboratory experience. The two hours per week in laboratory experience is to
practice group techniques. Prerequisite: CPCE 5531.
