5531 Diagnosis And Remediation Of Mathematics Learning Problems (3) This course addresses the problems of children, youth and adults in basic education, in learning mathematics, whether in the regular classroom or in special environments. Attention is given to the skill of identification of mathematical conceptual levels and to specific difficulties impeding normal progress. There is a focus on methods and materials of remediation in basic skills and concept development. Relevant research literature is examined.
