5545 Linguistics for ESOL Teachers (3) This course is an introduction to linguistic theories focusing on topics that are particularly relevant to ESOL teachers in culturally and linguistically divers settings. It also covers applying these theories to practice in ESOL classrooms. The contents include basic practical knowledge in phonetics, phonology, morphology,syntax,pragmatics and semantics.
