5605 Quantitative Analysis I: Regression And Analysis Of Variance (3)
This graduate level statistics course for students in education and the
behovioral sciences provides a strong conceptual understanding of two major
statistical procedures within the context of the general linear model: multiple
regression and numerous analysis of variance (ANOVA) models. Students will
learn to select appropriate statistical techniques, test the assumptions of the
techniques, analyze data using statistical software, and report the results of
their analyses in the format of the American Psychological Association
(APA,2002). Prerequisites: An introductory inferential statistics course EDRP
5505, PSY 316) and basic knowledge of research design (EDRP 5505, PSY 302).
