5506 Iep, Transition, And The Law (3) This course provides a background in historical and legal issues related to the field of special education. The course will focus on issues and practices related to developing individualized programs including Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), Individual Education Programs (IEP), and Individual Transition Plans (ITP). Salient features of the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) will be examined with respect to court cases, amendments, and reauthorization.
