8643 Advanced Legal Research (2-3) Course builds on Introduction to Law and emphasizes problem solving, systemic thinking about legal bibliography, and understanding of the issues confronting legal research. Topics include additional Lexis and Westlaw instruction, web-based research, transactional law, tax law, litigation, statistics, government agencies, international and foreign law, business intelligence and a specialty topic chosen by the student. Course work includes research problems and exercises and creation of a legal research guide.
