5668 Quantitative Research (3)

Quantitative reserach methods used to build nursing's body of knowledge are explored. Experimental, quasi-experimental, and correlational designs and clinical trials are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on design, data generation, analysis, and dissemination of findings. Issues pertaining to the use of quantitative methods will also be explored. Prerequistes: Psychology 516 (or equivalent) N610 Theory Development in Nursing II, or permission of instructor.
