Admission RequirementsHigh school students are encouraged to take a general college preparatory curriculum. Additional courses in mathematics, English, foreign languages and the social sciences, such as economics, anthropology, psychology and sociology are recommended. Students planning to transfer from a community college are encouraged to take at least 6 credit hours of sociology (including introductory sociology), college algebra and English composition. A maximum of 12 hours of transfer credits, including introductory sociology, can be counted toward satisfaction of the major field requirements.
