Criminal Justice and Criminology ProgramThe department offers the bachelor of arts and master of science degrees in criminal justice and criminology (CJC). Within the context of a liberal arts education, the program offers an interdisciplinary approach to study the criminal justice system. The program is designed to develop the intellectual skills required to function effectively as a field practitioner and to provide the knowledge base for careers as planners, administrators and researchers. The course offerings emphasize issues and problems relevant to policy considerations in criminal justice.
