AccreditationThe teacher education programs of the School of Education are accredited at the bachelor's, master's, educational specialist and doctoral levels by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education for the preparation of elementary teachers, secondary teachers and other school personnel.The School of Education is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. The Ph.D. program in Counseling Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association. Programs for the preparation of teachers and other school personnel are approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
