404R American Economic History Since 1865 (3) The course deals with the emergence of Industrial American since 1865. It covers the rise to dominance of the large modern corporation, the problem of economic and social instability and stability, the rise of trade associations, cartels, and government regulation in an unstable economy, and the evolution of American economic policy and national economic planning.
