342WI Women And Rhetoric (3) A study of the position of women within the traditions of western rhetoric. Students will examine the rhetorical practices of women s they pursue both public and private goals. Christine de Pizan. Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, Hannah More, Maria Stewart, Frances Willard, Ida Wells-Barnett, Meridel Le Sueur, and Gloria Anzaldua are among the female rhetorians who may be studied in this course.
