215 Introduction To Weather And Climate (4)
Overview of the basic components of the climate system. Emphasis is on the
basic physical processes that determine global and regional climate and the
linkages between components of the climate system. The theme throughout the
course will be importance of climate as one of the major forcing mechanisms in
environmental change. Both human-induced and natural climate variability will
be covered. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
