A multi-disciplinary course synergizing case studies from history, political
science, environmental management, and urban planning to develop a deep
understanding of current environmental issues. We will probe such issues as
the Concept of Nature and Environmental aesthetics Agriculture and the
Environment, Energy and the Environment, Developing the "Built Environment",
Environmental Costs of Industrialism, the Birth of the Environmental Movement,
Environmental Politics, Environmental Justice and many other topics.
