202R Social Organization (3)
This course focuses on the principles of social organization that undergird all
human societies: social groups; age and gender differences; the institutions
of family, economy, religion and polity; power; community and other units of
residence; and social differentiation based on such factors as wealth and/or
prestige. The focus of analysis is on the maintenance of social order, social
change, and integration of society. Crosslisted with SOC 202R. Prerequisite:
Soc 101. Offered: Every semester.
