373 Institutional Corrections (3) This course will examine several aspects of the American Prison, Specifically, current issues in the management and growth of the prison industry will be reviewed. These issues will inculde major constitutional applicatons, the management of special populations within the prison environment, and a general review of several aspects of day-to-day prison life. These issues and others will be explored through a review of the research literature base germane to prisons and institutions.
