497A Special Topics-Bioinformatics (1-3) Individual or small group study of topics in the area of bioinformatics including class room work, presentation, library work, and writing of term papers or other reports. Combined credit for LS 497 and 499 courses may not exceed 4 credit hours towards Biology course degree requirements. Prerequisite(s) Completion of Biology degree core requirements; a minimum GPA of 3.0; consent of an appropriate faculty member; and permission from a School of Biological Sciences Undergraduate Adviser.
