4120C Dental Hygiene Clinic III (4) The student will continue to develop competency in intermediate dental hygiene skills. Principles of peridontal techniques, such as root planning, pain control and supportive techniques will be stressed. Comprehensive treatment planning and implementation of comprehensive care to a diverse patient population will be the focus of this course. Continued development of professionalism, management and critical thinking skills will be emphasized.
