430A Experience Of Health In Aging: Physiological & Cognitive Aspects (1)
This one-credit hour course is designed for students interested in
understanding the role of health in the aging population. The 430A course will
focus primarily on physiologic and cognitive functioning of the older adult.
Theoretical, empirical and applied knowledge of the aging process is presented.
This knowledge is utilized in assessing and interpreting the physiological and
psychological influences on health. This knowledge may also be used in
developing strategies for the promotion, restoration, and maintenance of health
