430B The Experience Of Health In Aging:Relationships & The Environment (1)
This one-credit hour course is designed for students interested in
understanding the role of health, relationships in the aging population. the
N430B course will focus primarily on loss/grief and relationships environment
and as these relate to the older adult. theoretical, empirical and applied
knowledge of the aging process is presented. This knowledge is utilized in
assessing and interpreting the influences of relationships, intimacy, loss,
grief, and dying on health. This knowledge may also be used in developing
strategies for the promotion, restoration, and maintenance of health in the
aging population. Offered: Winter
