461 Electromechanical Conversion II (3)

Application of fundamentals and concepts of power systems to practical power plan and industrial applications. Identification of the significant internal components of power system equipment. Single and Three Phase Circuits, DC and AC Generators/Alternators, Transformers, DC and AC Motors, DC and AC transmission, and System Electricial Protection. Prerequisite: ECE 460.
