Built in 1937 as the Liberal Arts Building, Haag Hall completed the area called the Quad.   The building was renamed in memory of the donor whose gift funded the structure, Lena Haag.  Haag Hall is home to general studies.

Murals decorate the 2nd and 3rd floors, one a set of frescoes done by well-known Spanish artist, Luis Quintanilla.  As Quintanilla painted, Grant Wood and Thomas Hart Benton came to watch him at work.
