Fast Fact:
Construction ended in 1968, until the 4th floor was finished and a fifth floor added in 1991.

The ground floor contains the heating plant for most of the eastern part of the campus.

Miller Nichols Library, a five-story, full research facility, has an Information Commons that accommodates study groups and their laptops for collaborative projects.  Books, journals and other resources in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, education and business are the primary holdings; but there is also a unique music library, the Marr Sound Archives, and the Kenneth J. LaBudde Department of Special Collections, housing rare books, manuscripts, photographs, letters and diaries.
