The UMKC School of Medicine offers an innovative six-year combined baccalaureate/M.D. degree, built around a docent system that allows small group learning and permits continuous assessment of student progress.

The Medical School is located in the heart of the city's historic Hospital Hill district and is connected to Truman Medical Center, one of its primary teaching hospitals.
