Swinney Rec. Built in 1941 as a gift of Mr. E. F. Swinney, the space housed Army Air Force cadets in 1942.

Swinney Rec. Swinney Recreation Center has a wide array of activities and facilities for you to stay in shape.  Inside are five basketball courts, an Olympic-size pool, racquetball and squash courts, a cardio and weight training center, and an indoor track.  An outdoor track rings the soccer field. If you need structure, you can take part in the fitness classes offered here, including Tae Kwon Do and yoga. The intramural sports program offers flag football, volleyball, basketball, kickball and Ultimate Frisbee.
