Help sessions

Strategic Marketing and Communications (MCOM) is offering help sessions for website editors of official university websites. The help sessions are scheduled on the first Tuesday of every month from 10-11 a.m. in the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office training room (in room 101 of the Administrative Center on the Volker Campus). No RSVP is required for these sessions, come and go as needed.

Group web editing training sessions

MCOM has also developed some additional training resources for both Sharepoint Designer and Microsoft Expressions Web, the website editing software supported on our campus, as well as a general training guide to WordPress. To request a formal training session for your department, please E-mail us.

Publishing Settings for Microsoft Expressions Web

If you are well-versed in Sharepoint Designer but have recently had your computer updated to Microsoft Expressions Web, you'll notice the programs are very similar. The main difference between the two programs is in how you set up the sites for publishing. This handout will help with getting your sites set up to publish from development to live server.
