FRESHMAN VISITS

We offer both general admissions and academic specific visits throughout the semester.

If possible, we encourage you to attend a visit hosted by your future academic unit. The academic visits will cover everything from a general admissions visit plus specific information about your major. You often have the opportunity to meet with staff, faculty and students as well as tour facilities. Planning on a pre-dentistry, pre-health sciences, pre-law, pre-medicine or pre-pharmacy track? While many students choose a major offered through the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Biological Sciences, other students pick a different undergraduate major. Choose the visit that best matches your interests.

Not ready to connect with your major yet? Register for one of our General Admissions Visits! During a General Visit, which is over an hour and a half, you will learn about UMKC through the overview presentation and take a walking tour of campus led by a current student.
