Schedule a Personalized Campus Visit at the University of Missouri - Kansas City

We strongly encourage all students conducting college searches to schedule a personalized campus visit to UMKC. Campus Visits can help you make an informed decision and allow you to experience firsthand, everything that UMKC has to offer!

Since we want your visit to provide you with as much information as you need to make that decision, we recommend that it include talking to either an advisor or faculty member in your area of academic interest, a tour of the campus, and time to meet with a staff member in the Office of Admissions. You may also want to visit the Residence Hall and the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.

A walking tour is definitely the best way to experience the sights and sounds of the beautiful campus that is UMKC. The 45-minute tour helps familiarize you with the history, activities, and hallmarks of UMKC and allows you to get a glimpse of student life on our campus.

The Welcome Center will do everything we can to ensure that you enjoy your campus visit and leave feeling excited about the possibility of attending UMKC.

Please note, during the academic year (September – April), our walking tours leave on the hour, every hour from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 .pm. Summer walking tours are offered at 10:00 a.m., Noon, and 2:00 p.m.
