Baird-Welsh-Chisholm Family Papers (0531kc)
Frank J. Baird (1838-1895) was born in Brown County, Ohio. He graduated in law from the University of Michigan in 1865 and moved to the Kansas City area that same year. He became involved in the real estate profession and was very successful, arranging sales in Hyde Park and Armourdale, among other locations. His wife, Sadie M. Baird (1845-1897), was born in Lexington, Missouri, and moved to Kansas City in 1894 to teach school. She married Frank Baird several months later. Their daughter, Myrtle, married John Chisholm. Another daughter was Blanche Baird Seymour (Mrs. Ralph C.) of Chicago.
These materials include photograph albums, a wedding book, loose photographs, a memorial book, and a baby book. ca. 1895-1910.
