Vaun Arnold, a Kansas City poet and short story writer, was born in Lucasville, Ohio.  He traveled to Kansas at the age of five, and remained there until his death at the age of fifty-seven on April 6, 1958.  He joined the air service after World War I.  Later, he published many of his poems in the Kansas City Star and the Saturday Evening Post.

This collection concerns Vaun Arnold’s life as a poet, and contains poetry, other writings, correspondence, and music. ca. 1940-ca. 1956.
