Marshall Dwight Brown (1904-1994) Papers (1153kc)


Marshall Dwight Brown, was born in Marion, Kan.; grew up in Independence, Kan.; and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life. He received a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas in 1928.

Mr. Brown became a founding partner of Marshall & Brown Architects and Engineers in 1939; he retired in 1979. He was a fellow of the American Institute of Architects. He was a member of the church. He was a charter member of the Tower Homes Association and was past president of the Kansas City Sertoma Club.

Marshall Dwight Brown died October 2, 1994 at age 90 years.

This collection consists of certificates awarded to Marshall Dwight Brown.  It also includes architectural drawings by Marshall and Brown Architects (1939). 1942-1967.
