Frank O. Babcock was born in
Lone Elm, KS and graduated from
Frank Babcock
was Executive Vice-President of the Associated Plumbing Contractors and the
Mechanical Contractors of Greater Kansas City, 33 years before retiring in 1990.
He served as a consultant to the Pipe Fitting and Air Conditioning Council of
Greater Kansas City. He was secretary to the Plumbers and the Pipe Fitters Joint
Apprenticeship Committees, the Pipe Fitter Pension, Health and Welfare Fund, and
the Heart of America Chapter of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau. He
was a co-administrator of the Plumber and Pipe Fitter Fringe Benefit Office and
trustee for the Plumber Pension and Vacation Funds. Nationally he served as
chairman of the
National Energy Services Association (NESA),
National Alliance of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (NAPHCC),
as well as for the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MCAA).
