Hyatt Howe Waggoner (1913-1988) Letter (KC0120)


Hyatt Waggoner was a professor in the English language and Literature Department at the University of Kansas City from 1942-1956. In 1949 he apparently became president of the Kansas City Chapter of the Americans for Democratic Action.

This is a single letter, three pages in length in which Waggoner discusses the political situation in Kansas City from the perspective of head of the local chapter of the Americans for Democratic Action. Waggoner wrote this letter to James Loeb, ten executive secretary of the Americans for Democratic Action. 1949.
