Valley Hotel Register (KC0171)


Bolckow, Missouri, was founded in 1868, approximately 26 miles from St. Joseph, Missouri, in Northern Andrew County. The town was on the Platte County Railroad line which later became the Kansas City, St. Joseph, & C.B. The town provided service to the surrounding agricultural community. The Valley Hotel was a hotel establishment in Bolckow from at least 1883 until 1887. George T. Bennett was proprietor of the hotel and also served as Assessor and Treasurer for Bolckow in 1887.

This volume is the guest register for the Hotel. Guests registered by name, city and/or occupation. 1883-1885.
