Description: If you have never used Blackboard or have barely gotten your feet wet, this will help you get started. We will go through the layout of Blackboard, how to do the basics, show you what other capabilities it has and provide tips and tricks for planning and using Blackboard as an online instructional tool. During this workshop, you will build a demo course to practice using each of the tools. In this workshop, you will learn how to:

Post Announcements
Change Settings
Manage the Course Menu
Change the Course Design
Add External Links
Add Folders for organizational purposes
Add Content: documents, images, external links, etc.
Email from Blackboard
Access other tools within Blackboard
