UMKC Professional Career Escalators Fall 2023 Deadline

The deadline to apply for Fall 2023 has been extended to April 15th. 

Who Can Apply?

• High school and transfer students admitted to UMKC
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• 60+ credit hours for transfer students

How Do I Apply?

If you qualify, you will be prompted to apply through your UMKC status page. You will need to submit these application materials by March1.

1. A three-to-five-minute video essay in which you discuss these topics

• A challenge you faced and how you overcame it
• How you’ve engaged with your community, or how Career Escalators would help you to do that in the future
• How you think the UMKC Professional Career Escalators program can help you reach your career goals

2. A letter of recommendation

• Send the reference link to a person not in your family
• Your reference must be able to tell us about your interest in the program
