Social Media Account Registration

All social media pages and profile images need to be approved by the Social Media Advisory Group to be considered an official UMKC page.

Every social media account for your unit/organization should have the same profile image and name to strengthen your brand.
You may use your own photo or illustration. You may also download one of our UMKC profile graphics.
Do not use UMKC official or recreated logos or any other UMKC brand elements.
Many social platforms are limiting the use of text with images because of accessibility issues. Any text on a profile image (besides the approved “UMKC” image) is discouraged, and cover photo text should be minimal.
