Through service, AmeriCorps connects with non-profits to offer transformative learning opportunities in a community-based context that help students understand the impact and persistence of societal issues.
Sojourner Health Clinic
The Sojourner Health Clinic is a free health clinic and student organization that treats over 300 uninsured and underserved patients annually from the Kansas City population with more than 800 individual patient visits, accomplished through more than 2,500 student volunteer hours.
